Fee transparency

ETIAS paid support fees: optional service vs official fee.

Optional support fees are not the same as the official ETIAS application fee. Travellers should be able to understand both before paying.

Optional support only

Travellers are not required to buy support from ETIAS Connect. Once ETIAS opens, official application channels should be available directly through the official EU website or mobile app.

Official ETIAS fee

Official source material states the ETIAS fee as EUR 20 when the system becomes operational, with exemptions for some applicants.

Independent support fee

Support packages are approved as human-led service packages: ETIAS Application Support at EUR 59, ETIAS Priority Support at EUR 89, and ETIAS Appeal Case Assessment at EUR 100. Public checkout remains disabled until ETIAS launch conditions and operational activation are complete.

Official fee treatment

Where a package includes an official ETIAS application-fee component, the current internal model treats EUR 20 as the official-fee component and the remaining amount as ETIAS Connect's service component. The public checkout must still make clear that ETIAS Connect is independent and cannot guarantee an official outcome.

Before any payment

A paid-support flow should clearly show the service scope, price, what is included, what is excluded, refund terms, response expectations, immediate-start wording, authority-to-submit wording, and the option to use official channels directly.
