2. Full hostname

Read the entire domain, not only the page title or ad label.

3. Identity

Check the operator, legal entity, contact route, and non-government disclosure.

4. Fee separation

The official fee and any optional support fee must be shown separately.

5. Data terms

Understand the controller, purpose, retention, and support route before entering sensitive data.

How to verify the future official ETIAS mobile app

App-store placement and EU-style branding are not enough.

• Reach the app through a link or publisher instruction on the official EU ETIAS portal.
• Confirm the publisher and destination links against the EU page.
• Check that the official source says applications are open before entering passport data.
• Do not rely solely on stars, flags, screenshots, ratings, or search position.
