ETIAS hub

ETIAS travel authorisation guide for 2026.

This hub organizes ETIAS Connect around the questions travellers actually search for: what ETIAS is, who needs it, how much it costs, when it starts, and how to avoid unofficial confusion.

Current ETIAS position

Verified on May 15, 2026. ETIAS is not currently in operation, no applications are being collected yet, and the expected start window remains last quarter of 2026.

Start with status, then eligibility

ETIAS is expected to start in the last quarter of 2026. Until then, the most important fact is that applications are not being collected yet.

  • Use the current-status page for launch timing.
  • Use requirements and nationality pages to understand whether ETIAS is relevant to the trip.
  • Use country pages to confirm which destinations sit inside the ETIAS framework.

Commercial support is optional

ETIAS Connect may offer paid independent support, but travellers are not required to use an intermediary. Official ETIAS applications should be made through the official ETIAS website or mobile app once the system is live.
