Screening is part of official review
Official ETIAS materials describe an authorisation process that can include checks and, in some cases, requests for additional information or longer review. The details of individual decisions belong to official authorities.
- Answer official application questions truthfully.
- Do not guess if a question needs case-specific clarification.
- Read any official notice before acting on third-party advice.
No one can screen you before ETIAS opens
ETIAS is not operational as of May 15, 2026. A website cannot produce an official ETIAS screening outcome before the official system accepts applications.
What independent guidance can and cannot do
Independent support can help travellers understand public source material and prepare questions. It cannot access hidden official screening logic, override authorities, or guarantee approval.
When to seek qualified advice
Complex criminal-record, immigration-history, security, or appeal questions may need qualified legal advice in the relevant jurisdiction rather than generic ETIAS content.
